Lincoln

I got to go to Lincoln, England on Sunday. It was so beautiful even though it was raining. While I was there I got to see the cathedral and the castle. Lincoln is built on a hill so it is very windy there. I also got a great workout walking back up the hill the town is built on. Here are a few photo.

Below: this is a picture of the Lincoln Imp. It is lit up in the picture. This creature is said to have arrived to Lincoln on the wind, when it landed in the cathedral it turned to stone. It is so windy in Lincoln because the wind is waiting for the Imp to leave.

 

Below: The castle is built on two large mounds. This is one. Some people who were executed here are  buried on top of this mound.
